剧情简介：

1940年时，北非法属摩洛哥的卡萨布兰卡，成为欧洲大陆企图摆脱纳粹血腥统治的人们逃离迫害奔向自由天地的最后一扇门户，因此，这里云集了各个国家形形式式的人，当地有一家“里克酒店”，老板名叫里克．勃兰，是美国人，这天晚上，捷克爱国者维克多偕同妻子伊尔莎光临里克酒店，正赶上黑人钢琴手在弹奏《时光流逝》当年巴黎失陷于德军手中的时候，伊尔莎与情人里克分手之际，钢琴手所弹的也是这首曲子。

现在，这对情侣在异地相逢，里克情火再一次燃烧起来，但是，当地盖世太保头子斯特拉瑟少校命令警察局长，法国人雷诺上尉将维克多与伊尔莎逮捕，这对夫妻处境危难，表面待人冷漠的里克却毅然帮助他们乘飞机逃跑，斯特拉瑟少校得知消息后，急忙赶到机场，欲将其逮捕归案，不料却被里克一枪打死，飞机引击发动了，里克目送着飞机渐渐远去……好莱坞浪漫影片的各种特点，几乎被本片天衣无缝囊括。
